Indescribable Gift
This Christmas season was a very special one to me because I got baptized. I made the most important decision of my life and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. The Christmas spirit intrigues me. I am convinced that the most amazing thing that God did for us is that he became human. God knew what we needed most. He didn’t come to be served, but to serve. I thank God for his indescribable gift-2 Cor 9:15.He is my high priest. He intercedes for me when I go to the father with my prayers of confession. I am so happy and thankful that I received this gift-a gift that can transform lives. It doesn’t matter, how my past was, I know my future is going to be good with Jesus as my savior. My Jesus is the Savior of all seasons. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
These are the 4 main virtues we all can learn from the Christmas story and apply to our daily lives: love, humility, giving and faith. This can all be summed up in one verse –
Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Joining TLC this Christmas season has been such a huge blessing! I’ve loved coming every Sunday to learn about God’s word with a great group of people. I’m honored to be a part of the TLC family!
