At Lighthouse Coppell, we believe that giving of our first fruits is an act of worship and a way that we can honor God with what He has given us. For your convenience, we’ve included additional options beyond the traditional “passing the plate.”

Malachi 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

As believers, it is critical that we understand what the Bible says about tithing. The purpose of tithing—giving our first fruits for God’s work on earth—is to teach us to put God first in our lives. God doesn’t need our money. Instead, He wants what our money represents: our priorities, passions, purposes. Make a commitment to tithe and dedicate yourself to it. And more than anything … trust God and let Him prove His promises.
