Indian Church Dallas Worship Service

Ministry Values

We at The Lighthouse Church, Coppell, TX, highly esteem and celebrate the cultural diversity and uniqueness of every member in our TLC church family. Simply put, our deep conviction and desire is to call others to:

  • Believe in God the Father through Christ
  • Belong to the church, the bride of Christ
  • Be trained in the truth about Christ
  • Be willing to serve Christ

The following 7 Core Values are our guard rails to keep us focused on our Mission:

Indian Church Dallas

1. Biblically Balanced

The written word of God is our guide and authority. We stand firm where it stands firm and remain silent where it is silent. (2 Timothy 3:16)

2. Grounded in Grace & Love

We acknowledge our complete dependence on the grace and love of God. Those who are in Christ are solely due to God’s grace and love. Therefore, we eagerly extend it to others. We are on a journey of grace and love together. We depend on the transforming power of God. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

3. Prayer Life

The Lighthouse Church shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. This is the heartbeat of our church and must also be of every individual and every family. We will intentionally seek to set aside specific times for private, family, and corporate prayer. Our weekly prayer groups meet in the Irving, Coppell, and Carrollton areas. (Colossians 4:2)

4. Relevant Evangelism

All our services, events, and ministry activities intentionally point people to the Good News of the gospel. The message of the gospel transforms everything. Our challenge as a church is to bridge the gap and help people appreciate and understand just how relevant Jesus Christ and the Bible really are! We have a heart, burden, and a special gifting to reach out to the Indian, Pakistani, and other Southeast Asian Desi immigrant communities in Dallas-Fort Worth area. (2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Corinthians 9:22)

5. Committed to Family Life

We encourage a fully devoted life to Christ. We value strong families, we approach Biblical model of marriage, and a Christ-centered approach of parenting. A healthy, God-centered relationship between a husband, wife, and children is characterized by love, integrity, mutual respect, and accountability to God and one another. (1 Peter 3:7, Ephesians 5:22-24, Ephesians 6:1-3)

6. Discipleship

Disciples make disciples. Simply put, discipleship is partnering with God and with others to see the Kingdom expand. TLC’s discipleship team focuses on spiritual growth and the maturity of the followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that each believer has received a special gift, and should employ it in serving others as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If you have a heart to help people discover their God‐given passion, purpose, and place in this world, then you know where you belong! (2 Timothy 2:2, John 13:35)

7. Relationships

Weekly small group fellowship is an integral part of our calendar. Life change happens best in the context of relationships. We share each other’s burdens and rejoice in each other’s victories. We consider others more important than ourselves, and encourage one another and build one another up. Our small gathering invitations are extended to the people living in Coppell, Irving, Frisco, Carrollton, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Little Elm, Dallas, Allen, Plano, McKinney, Grand Prairie, Forney, Garland, Richardson, Las Colinas, and Bedford areas in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Hebrews 10:25)
